Honor Flight DFW is successful due to the dedicated help provided by volunteers who assist veterans at the beginning and end of their flight day, along with providing valuable assistance between flights. This enables us to accomplish our mission of sending veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built in honor of their service and sacrifice to the United States of America during times of conflict. We do not have normal operating hours; our board is a working board with no paid staff member. Everything is done by our volunteers from our home. Our volunteers give of their time in any way they can, at any time they’re able, and by any means necessary – a lot of email, calls and texts help facilitate much of our work. If you’re looking to serve those who served their country, we’d like to hear from you. We are excited to receive your application for assisting with our upcoming Missions and events!
